Fireweed and Wild Roses are classic Alaskan symbols announcing both the height of summer glory and the impending first frosts of late fall.

These mandalas are inspired by the seasonal shift in wildflowers from early to late summer at Creamer's Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge in Fairbanks, Alaska.
